We stayed here for almost a week. We were looking to spend holidays with family here, and were planning to stay 2.5 weeks.
I have severe environmental sensitivities. This place is brand new and smells new. I had a hard time because of that, but I am unusual in that sense. Things that bother me don't bother most people.
We were going to check out after the first night because I couldn't sleep. I felt too stimulated from the off gassing of all the new furniture and beds. But the girls at the desk were very nice and asked if we wanted to try a different room, and they would re-wash all the linens in just hot water and vinegar. So we stayed. Every day they replenished our towels with non-chemically washed towels. They called us everyday to see if we needed anything. Jenalese and Morena were wonderful and walked us all over the hotel, looking at different rooms that may be more off gassed.
Everyone was so nice and helpful, even the gentleman who runs the nightly dinner (yes they have breakfast every morning and dinner mon-thurs).
The only weird thing was that on two different occasions, hotel staff entered our room while we were there. One time, it was housekeeping. They knocked and immediately entered, and my husband was getting dressed. The other time a manager was roaming the hall, we had our door propped an inch to get some air, and she came in! Said she was worried that our door was open and wanted to check on us- but didn't even knock. Very weird.
All in all, this is a new place that is really nice and the staff went out of their way to take care of us. There was one girl at the front desk that seemed miserable, but I guess you find that everywhere. Didn't catch her name but she had a ponytail and glasses. I think she was a front desk manager?
