i've been here with and without the kids and i give it high marks for both.

without kids, I like the televisions, large bar area, the extensive bar menu and appetizer list, lots of beers, wine and cocktails.

but it works with the kids as well. there is a dining area, upstairs and down, on the opposite side from the bar area in case you want to separate from that. crayons and coloring placemats. we got a booster seat, but I presume highchairs are available if you have a table rather than a booth. the extent of the menu is most impressive. kids menu is big and the normal menu goes on and on. they have a website that allows you to look up the menu and it looked to me to be very accurate.

it gets crowded so a bit of a wait at peak hours might happen.

there is some decent shopping stops within a 5 minute drive all on a major road.

I've been coming to this restaurant from time to time for the past three years. Although the menu has remained more or less the same, the quality of the food has fallen off. That, however, isn't the major problem. I've never been to a restaurant where one had to specially request to have cloth napkins and utensils with which to eat. Actually, we never got the napkins, a stack of paper cocktail napkins was delivered to the table, and without any forks, either. I appreciate how difficult it is for restaurants to find staff who have ever eaten anywhere other than a fast food place, but this is basic professional hospitality. The stray hairs in my "clean" beer glass weren't too welcome, either.

Thanks, Maggie. It's been a good relationship, but it's gone sour now.

Sunday morning of our weekend visit we went to brunch at Maggie McFly's with relatives. The food was excellent and service wonderful. The portion sizes were ample. There were four in our party. One person had Buttermilk pancakes & bacon, two had steak & eggs with homefries, I had the Napoleon French toast which was Three Slices of French Toast Layered with Fresh Stawberries and Topped with Candied Pecans, Whipped Cream and Confectioner’s Sugar for under $11. It was more like dessert it was so yummy! All of us were stuffed! Total cost for four people was slightly over $60.

Great and rich menu selection, they offer a variety of salads, sandwiches and richer plates. Very good grilled shrimps salad. Perfect place for a mid day quick lunch. Convenient parking lot, lots of tables, indoor and outdoors dining, good service. Reasonably priced.
