“Bringing Good Food to North Simsbury”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

The culinary wasteland that is North Simsbury through Granby Center can rejoice. Great pizza, original salads and pub food are here with an upscale twist but without the upscale price. The previous restaurant in that location had been beyond bad but Attilio's was kind enough to sponsor our local sports team so off we went. We started with a lightly fried asparagus appetizer with a cucumber wasabi dipping sauce. Outstanding. I had an enormous beet, goat cheese, spinach and red onion salad with a homemade vinaigrette. My teenage son ordered & finished The Kitchen. . .a double patty burger on white bread served with bacon, lettuce, tomato and two fried eggs plus a side of fried for $11. My husband had the chopped chicken wasabi salad. Really good food, decent atmosphere and a friendly greeting by the owner. What's not to love? We brought home leftovers and our bill for food was $40.00. Will be going back often.

“Trip Advisor needs to add Atillio's back in”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

We went for first time last night to new Atillio's on Rt 10 at the Simsbury/Granby line. Boy have they redone the place. Beautiful, clean, fresh paint. And the Food - well what can you say but Atillio is the chef! We ordered a Chicken Salad that was huge, crisp, real chicken meat. And an avocado burger that was wonderful as well with large pickle, 2 large slices of tomato and lots of cheese. And waitresses, two blond young ladies, were so friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Price was amazing - 2 sodas, a dinner salad and a burger for $18! And when we left they handed us a $10 voucher to come back.

“New address, same atmosphere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

We've been going to this pizza place for 30 years. New owners every six months. Now we have something different but also more of the same. No Italian dishes, only pizza, salads, sandwiches and burgers. The atmosphere is terrible, stark and dismal. We tried the wild mushroom pizza and a burger. The pizza was good, different than other places around town. The burger was OK, but the fries were soggy. The chef seems enchanted with balsamic vinegar since he includes it on many dishes, i.e. our pizza and burger. It would be terrific if the menu could include dishes for those with special dietary needs, i.e. diabetic.

“Attillio is now located on Rte 10 -Attillio's Family Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

Hurray for Attillio's new restaurant!! Truly wonderful food- the man is a genius in the kitchen.
He still has pots of herbs outside the door- so you know that the seasonings will be fresh.

We had the meat lover's pizza and wasabi chopped chicken salad. Pizza crust was perfect, crispy, fresh from oven and toppings were tasty, plentiful and top rate. We took home leftovers, which seemed to be the norm-and that was for the small pizza.
If you are gluten free, don't dispair- the GF wasabi chopped chicken salad was excellent and ample, with just the right amount of wasabi dressing kick.

The servers are friendly, eager to help and Attillio came by to chat. Place was packed and it was a bit noisy, but with a slew of happy customers-good vibes.

The prices are quite reasonable, the view isn't as nice as Simsbury Farms, but the food and ambience more than makes up for it.

“GREAT burgers. Pretty view of Simsbury Farms Golf Course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

We're within walking distance, 3/4 of mile.. and often go over to have lunch, sit outdoors and enjoy the view. The burgers are so delicious! I'd steer clear of the chef's salad.. it's just cold cuts. Other things on the menu are very good though. You can eat indoors or outdoors. Watch the golfers, enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very nice place, worth a stop.
