We arrived to an empty dining room. Void of even wait staff and we had to hunt someone down. The decor is bland with bare walls but comfy seating. The menu is not extensive, but thats ok as long as they do what is offered well. We just had reuben sandwiches but they were perfect -- delicious corned beef and sauerkraut and cheese and dressing -- all in perfect proportions. The bread was yummy and grilled to perfection. We had both kinds of fries. The white fries were a little dry but the sweet potato fries were wonderful. Also had a side of coleslaw which was mayo based and had lots of carrots and we liked it alot. The service was good and there was a very lively and happy sounding bar crowd on the other side of the wall! We tried it on a Groupon and we would go back for a sandwich or salad. There is usually parking available all around.

The mussels appetizer was excellent. I ordered it as a dinner and there would have been enough mussels to share with another person as a dinner with a salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The only disappointment was that they were out of one of the local microbrews that a member of the party wanted us to try. Service was prompt and efficient. There were no problems using a Groupon coupon.

If you want a nice bar, this is a decent place to hang out. There are big flat screens and a decent crowd. The food is like you would expect in a bar. It is edible, not great. There is nothing bad about it but it is not fine dining.

I expected more but I found it all a little overpriced and lacking in atmosphere, an underwhelming experience.

I've been to IFT a few times. Cute place...but it survives on cuteness and not good food. The food is hit or miss depending upon who is cooking, and that is not predictable. They go too adventurous on their menu, should stick to bar basics, because that is all they seem to be able to handle. The bar is nice, drinks very good. Really, it is a bar. I don't know why they insist on having so many "theme" nights, like trivia or open mic, people are just NOT that into it and would rather go there for quiet socialization.
