Description: The DiCamillo family invites you for dinner Tuesday through Sunday. With our beautiful interior, linens, soft music, fresh flowers & candlelight, you'll feel like you are in Tuscany, yet we're here in the historic little town of Sherman, CT. Our two executive chefs create the classic Italian dishes and offer delectable specials as well, such as Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Duck Breast, Scallops and more. You may dine in our two dining rooms or on our patio (seasonal).

This place has both pizzas and Italian dishes. When it opened years back, it was quite good, now I am amazed they are still open. We went for dinner with kid last month. The calamari tasted like it has been sitting in the freezer for years, dried out and tasteless. There were only 2 other tables, and though we asked for lemon in our water, it never happened, the service was soooo slow. My veal dish was way overcooked, and the sauce was bland. My wife's eggplant parm was pitiful. The kids has cheese pizza, and the crust not crispy with hardly any cheese. We skipped dessert and went home.

This is a perfect example of what happen's when too many corners are cut to save food costs.. Bad quality food and lame service. I recommend this place for the Food Network show: Restaurant Impossible

What a great place this used to be. New ownership didn't learn a thing from the previous owner. Probably the worst service anyplace in the area. How could this have happened?

Hard to believe this is the same restaurant as described by other reviews. The physical restaurant and bar have the possibilities of a fine dining trattoria, however the reality stops there! The staff is mixed, a sweet young lady seating and bussing. For the pricing, fine dining service is way over the heads of the wait staff, service is inattentive and dismissive. And, the food is of marginal quality and defiantly does not warrant the pricing. After dinner, we had to go to American Pie for dessert to cheer up the evening. Will not go back.

Terrible service. We have been going there for the past 9 years. The past 2 owners were great. Food and service were good. Tonight everything was terrible. We waited about an hour and half for just pasta. I looked around and everyone was waiting. I noticed our waitress, which may have been the new owner was fighting with the chef. The chef was cleaning glasses instead of cooking. They were looking around at all the tables like they were confused. I finally asked our waitress what was going on and instead of being apologetic had an attitude. She said they were swamped with the take out. They obviously care more about their take out business than the customers in the dining room.

When we where leaving they served the table next to us the wrong food. I saw the waitress/owner laughing with the chef. When they asked if they were going to get their food the rude waitress yelled "its coming". What is this Mel's dinner?

When we went to the car we looked at take out area and there was the waitress/owner and chef laughing smoking and she was fixing her hair in the reflection again.

Horrible. Will not be back until there is new ownership!

Such a treat! We were treated like kings by the staff. Friendly and helpful in answering questions about the menu and specials. Great choice for a nice dinner out. Food was delicious. Had the classic lasagna and special panseared salmon with black ink squid linguini. Such flavors in these dishes. A Must if your hungry in Sherman or in the area.
