“Loved this museum and the walking trails”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

I loved this place. It's small but I found it fascinating and the people working at the museum were so nice. The walking trails were lovely in the fall. If you or your kids like dinosaurs at all, you'll like this place. If you don't, just go to walk a trail.

“Love the park, the museum is okay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

Great walking paths....the museum is a little small. You end up not paying much if you go with younger kids so its not a big deal, but I don't think it would be worth it to go with a spouse or older kids where you have to pay multiple admissions because you're in the museum for like....15 minutes max not including the films they show.

“Great Walking Trails”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

This was a great place to walk in the morning. Each day we took a different trail and got to see a variety of plant and wildlife. Especially cool was the boardwalk through the swamp. The trails were free. It was $6.00 if you wanted to view the dinosaur exhibits.

“Great for adults and kids alike”

We used to live nearby but hadn't been to the Dinosaur Park until a couple of weeks ago when our 36-year-old son joined us in Connecticut when we were visiting relatives there. He remembered happy times in the park with his sisters when they were children so we went back for old times' sake and had a wonderful afternoon. There are a variety of walks to take as well as the wonders of seeing the dinosaur tracks which are protected by a sort of giant tent. Electronic light paths (which are connected to buttons) allow visitors to see how individual dinosaurs walked on the very ground you are looking at. The museum has improved over time and has a lot to see, including some interactive displays. There is also an activity room for children. We stayed long enough to see two presentations: one was an old film we'd seen, we think, many years ago (although it was still relevant since it explained the basics about dinosaurs) and the other was a handler talking about a snake which we were eventually allowed to touch (yes, even the adults). The culmination of our visit was the purchase of several items from the gift shop for our son's Christmas gift. If visitors join the organization online, there is a discount at the gift shop, so it's worth looking at.

“Pretty Darn Interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

As we walked around, all we could think about was that there were dinos walking around the same place we were .... just a bazillion years ago. They did a nice job creating this little museum around the footprints. Not a bad way to spend a hour or two.
