I take my nieces here once a year. They are always updating the exhibits, but you can go through it in about 20-30 minutes. They do have a schedule where they have special presentations and classes. If you go during warmer weather they have walking trails.

I had been a little disappointed when I went into the dome to see the prints, but have never been disappointed by the walking trails at the park. The wetlands garden is lovely. I've seen a black & white warbler, a turkey vulture, a baby snapping turtle, damsel flies, and two luna moths. This park is really a gem. Too bad an industrial park abuts it, because this park deserves to be expanded.

This is a nice spot, especially if you have young children. The admission to the museum is inexpensive ($6 per adult, children 5 and under free), and parking is FREE. The grounds are free to use, with many nice paths to follow through the woods and swamp (there is a boardwalk to follow through the swampy areas). Nothing much to see on the paths except mother nature and a few information plaques scattered about. Trails are clean! There is only water and soda available on site, so pack a lunch (they have an outdoor area to sit). The museum is very small, but interesting none-the-less. Basically while digging in the area, a bunch of dinosaur tracks were found. They built a geodesic dome around it and made it a museum. Most of it is the history of the site and dinosaur information related to the area's history. There is a children's play area with a number of activities, and also family friendly movies and live animal demonstrations - all for $6 p.p. They have a nice little gift shop too. If you go with 2 adults and 2 kids with $40 in your pocket and a packed lunch, you'll have a nice day out.

The dinosaur trackways are facinating. I like the way the building was built around them. The exibits were informative and very interesting. The walking paths were very nice also. We spent a whole day there, bring your walking shoes.

We planned a visit here after finding it online, it was under $10 per person for admission and it seemed like a good stopping point on our road trip to get the kids out of the car for a bit. The grounds are nice, there is a walking trail, and an indoor exhibit with a gift shop. It was actually quite nice. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the day we visited was "Dinosaur State Park Day" which meant free admission and all sorts of outdoor games, races, and face painting for the kids, all FREE! What would have been about a 45 minute visit to the park turned into a fun filled afternoon. This place is ideal for kids about 10 and under.
