$129/ night was far better than the $399 Mohegan Sun was quoting and we didn't win enough money to justify the latter. It was also $100 better than the Hyatt Place which is basically the same thing only closer to Mohegan. Yes, it's close to Foxwoods but Foxwoods is such a dump that doesn't help us out much. It is however also pretty close to Mohegan Sun which is awesome. Property had been open for about 2 weeks and everything was great, the bed was really good, got the best night's sleep in a hotel in a while. Breakfast not included (my wife thinks it should be!) and we had the big buffet the night before so we did not try it. Similarly noted the lemonade and cookies and appreciated that they were there but did not have any. Only minor complaint was shower needed adjusting; it was not a water pressure issue, just that half of the water was still coming out of the bottom tub fill spout when the shower was on. Easily fixable and as I know from my work new buildings are always full of little kinks like this that need to be worked out. Would definitely stay here again though when I hit the big hand I will stay on the casino grounds.

We had a great experience here. On a whim, we decided to book an overnight stay as close as possible to the casino as it was sold out. The hotel is brand new, so it is amazingly clean and sleek. The bed was fantastic, much better than the Grand Cedar beds at Foxwoods. It will only take you three minutes to drive and park at Foxwoods, the location is perfect. Due to the location, I think this will be our routine hotel to stay at. It's 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the the hotels in the casino, with a similar experience.

We were lucky enough to plan to stay here one of the first days it opened for one night. Two couples, two rooms. The outside building is very pretty, the landscaping is still being worked on but you can tell it is going to be amazing in the spring. Very spacious lobby, with lemon water, lemonade coffee and teas that are complimentary open arrival. They also had fresh baked cookies. The check in went pretty well for a staff of new employees. We were given our rooms on the top floor facing the back of the property. The rooms were clean and very nice. Beds comfy. We had a mix of foam and feather pillows so easy to get the right pillow needed. Coffee maker, microwave and refridgerator in the rooms.

We drove the 8 miles to Mohegan Sun for a while and then returned and parked the car to use the hotel shuttle to Foxwoods. This was great. It was less then a 5 minute trip to one of the entrances to the casino. Upon return we got lucky and the shuttle was sitting outside the Casino so we got right in, he left after a few more guests came out.

In the morning we decided to try the breakfast. It was good but still has to work out some kinks. Our server Jen was very nice, helpful and personable. They were very busy and the General Manager was clearing plates and helping with the guests. I was impressed by this.

Check out was smooth.

Overall already booked this for a family overnight trip in the summer to have dinner at the casino and then head to Rhode Island beaches the next morning.
