“Very nice ambience.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2012

I was a bit afraid to take my friends to New York to this place since I have never been here. However when we got to the place, it was a nice location. When we walked in the place was more beautiful inside. And the food was excellent. We got there 1/2 hour too early, the place does not open until 11:30 but they let us in anyway! I highly recommend this place!

“Average at Best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2011

We were jonesing for some Pad Thai and didn't feel like driving to New Haven to eat at Thai Taste which in our humble opinion serves the best Pad Thai in Connecticut. Turns out we should have driven to New Haven as the dish here definitely was greasy and lacking in flavor.

“Unique and worth the trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2011

This restaurant is an interesting blend of art, food and authenticity. Food is well prepared and as we've been there many times over the years, it is a breath of fresh air and unique to the Shoreline.

“Our new 'favorite' restuarant!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2011

We always loved coming to this place occasionally.....we'd have our favorite meals.....mine was the house special 'sizzling pancake' filled w/ delicious vegies, chicken, aromas, etc. and my husband's was a spicy chicken dish. Service and atmosphere was ALWAYS great. NOW it is open for lunch, too, so we love to eat lunch there, esp. this winter in the smaller dining room with the pine ceiling and the wood stove crackling. We sit at 'our table' next to the stove and get cozy for a delicious vegan meal. (since now we are on a plant-based diet). The vegies and light sauces are delectable and the bits of tofu in the food are the best seasoned, tastiest we've ever had.
I love that Vietnamese food does not depend on meat OR dairy to make it delicious and appealing to all the senses....5 STARS!!
