I live where fried clams are rather mediocre. I search for places that care. Johnny Ads has good reviews and I concur. I want the whole clam, not fragments. I want a good batter ( I'm not expecting tempura ) but it can't be thick blotting paper. I want them fresh, NOT OVERCOOKED
( this is a common problem ), served HOT. Johnny Ads complied well with all requirements. And a nice cole slaw. The Flume in Mashpee ( now gone - sigh ) set the gold standard. Heavenly. But this place helps console me.
