We checked in at the Old Saybrook Point Inn & Spa,with storms closing in around us. We went to the Fresh Salt restaurant, at the Inn for a drink and ended up having dinner. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted with friendly staff and treated like Royalty. The drinks were perfect and the meal beyond or expectations. The Scallops were awesome, sweet and perfectly prepared. My salmon was less than 48 hours from the ocean and as good as I've ever had. We decided to try the crème bruele and it was also perfection...three flavors and as good as it gets. The location, staff and food made a perfect evening for us. And what's exciting is that we have 2 more nights here. What's really exciting is that when you're 76 and you feel this way, it's REALLY great. Guess where we'll stay next year... Yup...Here!
