“A Birthday Treat!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Usually you have to visit a large city to sample ethnic food but my friends and I have been coming bakc to this unique restaurant for the past year to celebrate our birthdays and it never fails to be a fun experience. The wraps and sandwiches are sooo delicious it is hard to pick one from the varied menu, I always go with the grilled chicken with apricot sauce and spinach, wrapped tightly in a perfectly seasoned wrap.
Of course the Morrocan Delight ice cream is a must to finish our lunch.
The owner, Kathy, always comes out to greet us and chat.
The next time I will go for dinner and try something cooked in a tangine, never had that before but know it will be good,
This little place is a treasure in such a small town, how lucky are we!
I would highly recommend this place for those who want to get off the beaten path for a delicious lunch or dinner. You won't regret it!

“The Secret is Out...”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Living in town, we have visited Tissa's numerous times. We are NEVER disappointed. The food, the ice cream, the atmosphere, Kathy, her family and staff are wonderful! Living on the shoreline is a real treat...having Tissa's in town is the "cherry on a delicious sundae".

“Freshest wrap I have ever had!”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Tissa's is a small local deli and shop with character and charm, inside what was once an old drugstore, back in the "olden days". Tissa is warm and friendly, and makes a lovely tasty veggie wrap sandwich (along with many other selections) which I enjoyed eating while looking at the Morrocan items which decorate one half of the shop. I would suggest that anyone in the area, try her food..It is very fresh and tasty, and she is ever-so-gracious!
