Perfect getaway for us! Michael was everything an owner/chef should be in a B&B. Rooms charming and comfy; appreciated the extra touches such as providing evening snacks and a frig filled with cold drinks. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Good location also.

Thanks Michael! We had a great time in Mystic and the hospitality was marvelous. The breakfast was truly decadent and we very much enjoyed our two day stay. We would certainly recommend this B$B!

The Old Mystic Inn is by far the nicest B & B I have stayed in. It's country charm and scrumptious breakfasts prepared by the owner and chef are wonderfully prepared and I can't think of a better way to start off the day. In the past two years since I have been traveling up to Connecticut with my boyfriend, other than the very first night we stayed here, we have only stayed in the Old Mystic Inn and look forward to many many more trips. We have stayed in 3 of the 8 different rooms and each is decorated so cute and cozy.

This was our fifth trip to the Old Mystic Inn. We have stayed at several other hotels and bed and breakfast in the area with "NO' comparisons! Too much to put into words to capture the experience...The host with the most "Michael" runs a great Inn and is a pretty good chef to say the least. A five star breakfast is waiting for you. The location is somewhat secluded but perfectly located. A short drive to some of New Englands finest eateries. " A must is the "Captain Danial Packer" The casino's are only a short distance along with shopping and some great beach areas. our personall favaorite season is the fall. There are some great local events and the beaches are almost deserted! Don't miss out on this great find. We can't wait to get back in October!!! A+++++++++++++

I couldn't have been more pleased with my online selection: Old Mystic Inn was everything the website had shown/mentioned and then some. Owner/Operator/Chef Michael provided us with picture-perfect accommodations and beyond-delightful breakfasts. Given his exquisite period decoration and thoughtful maintenance of this historic B&B, I also consider Michael its curator. Had I not left the property for local day jaunts, my stay would have been just as satisfying. I wish Michael many happy visitors and many successful years--I yearn to return ASAP.

Attention to detail captures the essence of this inn keeper. The inn is meticulously clean, very attractively decorated, and very restful. The inn keeper is a trained chef and the breakfast is worth the trip alone. I ordered two of the special packages and they were both perfect. We will return to this inn and plan to recommend it to our friends. If you plan to visit the Mystic area this is the place to stay.

My husband took me away for my 40th birtday for a surprise trip to The Old Mystic Inn. The innkeeper, Michael was very helpful during our stay. He made sure we felt at home and we were welcomed to make us feel at home. Michael's breakfast is fabulous. We were lucky enough to spend two nights so we were able to have two of his specialities. The french toast is simply delicious. If you are looking for a quaint, quiet place that is high quality in all services, then this is the place to be. It is close to everything and it's location is in the quietier part of Mystic (Old Mystic). We will be back!!!!!!!
