I attended a corporate meeting held here recently where a breakfast was served. The fritatta? was ok, but bacon and sausage were really not very good; admittedly these are tough to present in that setting. However the scones, breads and homemade(?) granola were absolutely excellent . Fresh squeezed oj and really good coffee too. The service from everyone was just outstanding.
The weather has just recently gotten cold in the mornings, so the gas logs were burning in the fireplaces was quite nice. The only issue is the wind that comes in when someone opens the front door. I'm sure they could come up with an appropriate vestibule of some sort for this - that wind must really blast up the main stair.
The bar and adjacent sitting rooms are very quaint. I'm sure it could be a little loud (it a house afterall - how noisy is it in your house if 30 people come over?) but I look forward to coming back at some point.
