Winfield's is set in a treed atrium that serves as the hotel hub. It's storybook lovely, with live vegetation, a babbling brook, and a few well-behaved resident sparrows.

The breakfast buffet is worth writing home about. Everything is fresh, from the assorted whole fruits to the mix-it-yourself fruit salad to the lovely pastries to the well-supplemented lox and bagels. The hot dishes are just fine, including outstanding bacon, the mandatory scrambled eggs, eggwhite omelette, and mild sausages. Like cereal? Try oatmeal, cream of wheat, or about any dry cereal you want.

All of this with smiling, efficient service from a staff that glows when they receive well-deserved compliments.

The buffet is a bargain at $25 and a better bargain if you're a hotel guest on the AAA plan.

Thank todbo

Sunday Brunch was delicious as usual...the food is really first rate. The room is located in the Atrium and is especially lovely because you're indoors - comfortable, no insects, AC, etc., yet with the trees and flowers, you feel as though you are outdoors in a beautiful garden. It's really quite lovely.

Service is good overall - the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a buffet, however, the quality of food is excellent. The staff bring coffee, juice, etc. There are two areas that do need improvement. Staff take requests for juice, coffee, new silverware, etc., but often forget to return. For example, one person offered us a second cup of coffee, but never returned with it. Another staff person took an order for tomato juice, but never returned with it. As long as you're patient - a gentle reminder and the staff will take care of it.

The only major issue we had was that we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I requested 'a nice table' - the ticket that was given to the hostess who sat us had the special note on it which was a plus, yet we were seated at a table with no umbrella (which initially I thought was ok as we had sunglasses) however, after a while that sun becomes very hot and as a result we were sunburned. So, rather than enjoy a leisurely brunch, we ate and left within one hour because we could not weather the sun rays that were cooking us - and this was May. I can only imagine how strong the rays will be in July. We will definitely return as the ambience was lovely and the food was delicious, but next time, we will insist to be seated at a table with an umbrella. It would be great if the hotel took steps to add more umbrellas to the tables.

Great food breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks, never was disappointed, even the pizza was really good, far from "bar" pizza, artisan style. Breakfast buffet is good too, quite the spread for hotel breakfast!

My husband and I have brunch at the Hyatt a few times a year with a couple we travel with to the Caribbean. Usually we never have time for breakfast - so when we meet at the Hyatt for brunch....it is with eager anticipation! Here's my review: PROS: The Hyatt is beautiful inside and the tables are not too close together. Lots and lots of food choices.....pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, eggs benedict, breakfast potatoes, every type of salad under the sun, fresh fruit, bagels and croissants, seafood galore - shrimp cocktail, sushi, raw clams & oysters, and usually mini crab claws - which were absent on this most recent visit. There's also cooked fish, rice, and vegetables and a pasta station (create your own pasta dish) and a carving station with prime rib and turkey breast and sometimes - pork. I probably missed many items - but believe me - there's something for everyone. There's ample champagne for those who wish to indulge and of course there's plenty of orange juice and coffee too. Desserts are good too but I usually don't get anything because I am FULL!!!! Waiters are attentive and pleasant too. CONS: Brunch is expensive....I think it was $55 per person....AND....it can get CRAZY on special days (Easter, Mother's Day) but overall......it's a nice brunch and is worth it if you wish to indulge a few times a year or for a special occasion/celebration.

Good restaurant if you want to spend lots of money. the service is good and the food is average. But there are ample possibilities in the neighborhood for much less money.
