We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived at port and after wandering and finally arriving, we were so happy that we had chosen Hotel Vagia. It is so close to a beach and a nice hike to the temple. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable and clean with nice views. Noti and his mother were so welcoming. When we arrived they gave us a nice cold glass of water and their homemade lemon cake, which is absolutely delicious. Noti briefly summarized what we could do on the island and gave some wonderful recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast is delicious. I was backpacking with my sister through Europe, and this was a wonderful place to relax/rejuvenate. I think this would be a great place to bring your family because it is very quiet and easy to walk around. We wish we had stayed longer.
