DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Norwalk

Hotel is located next door to a Cosco Wholesale Club. Leaving and entering hotel property was not easy. This is due to the Cosco traffic turning lane in front of the hotel and all the stopped cars blocking the hotel entrance and exit. Room was okay, bathroom was small. Indor pool was advertised as one of the best in the area. Too bad it looked like staff forgot about the pool area.

The overall stay at the DoubleTree in Norwalk, CT was excellent. The room was lovely and very clean. The customer service we received was excellent. The warm cookie upon arrival was totally outrageous!!

Staff friendly, location a problem with heavy traffic entering and leaving traffic congested part of town, room heater was defective, no parking available in evening for guests.. Most positive was I got two cookies!

Great staff, good service, comfortable room. It was raining so we decided to have dinner in the restaurant..good food but very pricey. Stick with the burgers. Aside from that would definitely recommend..easy off route 95

Hampton Inn, another Hilton property, was clearly superior to your DOUBLETREE property and for $100 less per night. Wake up and smell the coffee. Why stay at Doubletree any more????? Same story in Atlanta.

I paid $117 total for one night stay.

I requested a room with no connecting door at check-in. Front-desk staff then gave me a room with a connecting door with rambunctious kids next door. The staff did not fix the situation when requested.

I don't blame the children next door for all the noise. The hotel's cheap construction and staff caused this.

The hotel is located adjacent to a CostCo parking lot. The parking situation was not easy and there were no spaces available in the hotel parking lot.

I suspect this property makes a good deal off of Priceline and Hotwire customers who aren't able to choose a better hotel.

Room Tip: Request a quiet room but be prepared to be let down.

Just driving south from Massachusetts, no prior reservation. Good stopping point. Hotel very convenient to I-95. Check-in person very friendly and helpful, securing a room on HHonors Floor. Very tired, so ordered room service. Meal was very good; in room dining attendant was wonderful - she alone would make me seek out this hotel again if I am in the area. Great value as well - very reasonably priced.
