“Fabulous transformation! A little gem in downtown Norwalk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

Tinto has been through a few changes over the years. Formerly Meson Galicia a formal Spanish restaurant for many years and more recently Meigas which was moving toward a tapas menu. This new version is the best yet. The tapas are pretty large; one of our party had the chicken breasts which was two full pieces of chicken more of a large entree size. I had the tuna serviche which was delicious and my husband and i both had the mussels and he had the grilled calamari which was extremely tender. The mushroom serviche was served in a martini glass. The bread delicious. I really enjoyed my mojito which was a normal sized glass. The portions are generous for a tapas restaurant and if we had room i would have ordered a flan. This place needs to advertise because it was quiet for a Saturday night but we could have a conversation without having to shout over loud music or loud patrons. We will definitely go back and i hope this version sticks!
