“Great place for brunch”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

We had a very enjoyable brunch. There were lots of choices. I had an egg white omelet with spinach, onion, and feta- included home fries and toast. I added a side of mixed berries and a cup of decaf coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty. My husband had the buttermilk pancakes - came with real maple syrup and mixed berries. He enjoyed his food too. The food was ordered at the counter(paid for) and then when it is ready brought to your table. We went here on a Sunday- early afternoon(kitchen closes at 2pm) and it was quite busy. The bakery was open until 4pm.(lots of breads and pastries etc). We will definitely come back.

“Delicious food, wonderful service,”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

My husband and I love to visit the SoNo Baking Company & Cafe whenever we are in the area. The service is excellent (friendly, patient, attentive without being aggressive), and the pastries and breakfast options are all beyond delicious - we have yet to be disappointed. If you are on a budget, beware though - because everything looks (and is) amazing and the prices reflect the high quality ingredients and craftsmanship at SoNo Baking Co, you'll need to use some self-restraint to not blow your budget.

We recommend the:
* Buttermilk pancakes
* Two egg meal
* Almond Croissant

“Almond paste and butter - the best way to start the day”
Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

Finally made it to this place as a precursor to the seafood place across the street. The macaroons were amazing the strawberry almond was my favorite. Quiche of the day was good but a little pricey for the amount of egg you actually get. Brought home a fruit galette that looks worth the drive alone.

“Getting Added to The Rotation”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

I honestly wish it hadn't taken me almost 3 years to visit the Sono Baking Company. We visited for a quick breakfast and was thoroughly impressed.

The Breakfast: We decided to split two things to try as much as possible. First was the Stuffed Brioche French Toast. It was stuffed with a decadent vanilla pastry creme and mixed berries. The French Toast itself was light and moist and there was just the right amount of crust on the outside.

The second thing we tried was the Parisian Omelette. The omelette had a very European feel. It was very light and fluffy eggs that acted as the perfect vessel for the Virginia Ham, Swiss Cheese and chives. It was served with home fries and toasted bread that was made on site.

Other things: As we were walking out, we decided to pick up a few more things from the bakery. Both things (Biscotti & Focaccia ) were truly fantastic.

We will definitely be returning, a lot, to enjoy everything they have to offer.

“The best bakery”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Our lunch was delicious and fresh ingredients. The salads are fresh and the soups made daily. The baked goods are to die for!
The service is excellent with Renee, Greg, Anna and staff always eager to help in any way they can. John the owner runs a wonderful place for breakfast & lunch. The kitchen is open and it is immaculate. Our favorite breakfast, lunch and baked goods spot.
