Cute aquarium. Very nice and clean, some cool exhibits. Definitely smaller than average aquariums. IMAXs are usually fun to see, however they can sometimes play some very, very stupid mini movies that would be too corny/silly for a 30 minute history show, I'm not sure how they end up getting made into an IMAX. Spend a little time googling the IMAX show you choose to see and you should have a great trip.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Not in the same class as the New England Aquarium or the National Aquarium in Baltimore, but a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours. The smaller scale, however, allowed more close-up viewing, which was especially great during the 45-minute seal feeding and demonstration.

We got free admission as part of the Bank of America "Museums on Us" deal on the first weekend of the month

We have been there before and although a little pricey for what you get, our granddaughter loves it there. Great place for little ones.

Spent 4 hrs on Sunday at the Aquarium with an 11 year old and 2 teenagers, and had a great time. The kids loved the touch tanks, seeing the different exhibits. It doesn't seem like a lot, but they have sharks, sting rays, turtles, seals, otters, and more. We also paid to see an IMAX movie which was enjoyable as well. It is very well spaced out, so if you are bringing a stoller, or grandparent in a wheelchair, there is plenty of room.

Took my young sons to this Aquarium. If you have been to other major aquariums like the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, you will be disappointing. This aquarium is not really big and its age is showing.

But on the other hand, there are not too many other aquarium options in this area. For a quick day trip with my kids, I found this place adequate and educational. It will take you between 1 to 2 hours to go through the whole aquarium (which includes spending time at each exhibit - like i said its small) but that is about the amount of time my kids have before they start getting ansy. The Sting Ray hands on exhibit was the one the kids loved the most.

There are probably better things to do in the Tri state area with the kids if you are visiting but if you live in this area or you just want something qucik to do with kids that will take up a few hours, this is a good option.
