We have been 3 times, most recently this summer. The aquarium has renovated its front entry to be large, spacious, and inviting. It seems like they renovated the touch tank too, so there are more spots for people to reach in and feel a bat ray or skate. The main star of the attraction are, on course, the aquatic animals. There is a meerkat tunnel your child can climb up into, and we always love sitting and watching the jellyfish tube, and the shark wall. It's nice to see a local focus on the Long Island Sound. The outdoor area is used to host a special attraction-- 2 years ago it was penguins, and this time it is an albino crocodile. They also have an imax theater built into the aquarium--- for a few dollars more, you can see an imax movie. My daughter LOVED the Born Wild movie. The restaurant isn't anything special, but you can eat a picnic lunch outside on the tables, and enjoy the view. Or there are other restaurants in the vicinity. Overall, I would highly recommend for anyone with young children. It's a great way to spend 3 or 4 hours, and we loved it! PS they will take a picture of your family and email it to you, a nice perk.
