“If Henry doesn't know your name...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

It's because you haven't been to Little Tokyo! Fresh fish, great value, much more than you would expect in a strip mall location. Have been going once a week for eight years and outside of Manhattan you can't find better. Insider's tip: Try the Kumamoto oysters which are available daily. And if available don't miss out on the giant scallops. Best value? Top shelf liquor. Henry confessed that his waiters can't distinguish between brands so he charges $4.75 for everything from bar!

“The Best Sushi around!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

If you haven't been to Little Tokyo then you are missing out. They have the freshest and most delicious sushi around. They are good people...Henry the manager brings that fresh fish daily to Little Tokyo from Fulton Fish Market..Our daughter and son in-law live in DC but wait to come to CT because it is so wonderful. Even our friends from Newtown make it a point to schedule a trip down at least once a month. For those non-shushi eaters the other items on the menu are very good also!

“Fantastic fresh sushi and sashimi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2011

Although it is tucked away in a little strip mall, this restaurant is definitely worth seeking out. I go to Norwalk once a year, and never fail to visit, the food is fantastic, good 'specials' every day, always very fresh, friendly owner.

“Very fresh ingedients, inventive menu, large portions, friendly service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2009

Great little restaurant located in a local strip mall. We go here for the food... consistently freshest of ingredients and a menu which combines traditional Japanese dishes and creative Japanes fusion. This is not the place for flashy teppanyaki. The decor is bright with some mandatory touches of Japanese bamboo and banners, not ornately Japanese... after all, this is a strip mall location. But the restaurant is meticulously clean and family run. The emphasis here is on the quality of food, menu inventiveness, portions larger than most other Japanese restaurants, and prompt, friendly service. All in all, very good value. Licensed for wine, beer (and of course sake). If you are at all adventurous, then give the owner, Henry, some guidance on key likes and dislikes... and ask him to decide on your choices for the evening.
