We always used to visit Strada before or after the cinema in Norwalk. They do good basic Italian food- a bit pricey, but always tasty. Friendly staff, and easy for friday night dinner.

The food is good. The atmosphere okay. Not crazy expensive but just not good enough to charge $20.00 for vegetable lasagne. A salad with salmon will run about $25.00 and it is rather basic. The food is done in a nice mainstream way without anything special and no surprises. The pizza is good but not if you're eating the gluten free. One time soggy, one time dry like a wafer.
By the way, those are lunch prices I haven't been for dinner. Two people, two iced teas, no alcohol, coffee or dessert - $59.00.

We visit Strada regularly. We visited this past weekend, and we loved it.

Our waitress came right over and gave us glasses of water and breadsticks. She then took our orders. Our appetizers consisted of a 4 cheese plate and more breadsticks. Then, she brought us our main courses, which included two pizzas and a chicken dish. Everything was great.

When we ordered dessert, we got a lemon cake and gelato and sorbet. When she brought us our check, we wrote a note about how much we loved the restaurant. Great wine selection, too.

Enjoy.

This is one of the last pizza places I have tried in Norwalk. Six of met there for a casual pizza dinner. Strada 18 is like a more fancy Fatcat Pie Company. It is much quieter and formal. The pizza was okay, This crust. Crispy. The ingredients seemed okay quality. Would I go back? Before we received the bill, there was a 50-50 chance I would. But for 6 people; a cheap bottle of wine, one soup and three pies, the bill was close to $200 dollars with tip. Crazy expensive. They have to charge high prices to pay for the high rent in SoNo. But the pizza was no better than Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza down the road but at least twice the price. I won't be returning. I just hope Strada 18 will not follow in the footsteps of many restaurant in SoNo before them. Popular today. Out of business tomorrow after patrons really think about the cost.
