“Paradise for grandparents looking to entertain the grandchildren”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

We were looking for somewhere for an energetic, inquisitive three year old and found it at Stepping Stones. Such a variety of innovative, inventive and classic activities for children of all ages, and our grandson, who goes regularly with his parents, rushed straight into the various activities on offer. We managed to avoid the water area (being cowards) but it was being enjoyed by lots of tots in plastic aprons. The building area was the attraction for our grandson who lives for diggers and tractors. A lovely afternoon where we had nothing to do but watch all the children having fun.

“Fun and funny”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

We took my one year old nephew to Stepping Stones. We were not sure he would get much out of it but were pleasantly surprised. He enjoyed the indoor play area at his level. It was crowded but all the kids (and parents) were well behaved. It was the wet room that really made his day. Even with the too cute rain coat he was outfitted with he was soaked from head to toe. He loved it and we laughed. Pew had lunch in the cafe which was nice. After lunch we went to the outdoor play area. Again, he had a great time and kept us laughing. Take your little ones and enjoy!

“Perfect place for toddlers”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We have enjoyed many weekly visits to Stepping Stones. The museum is set up to offer different age-appropriate experiences. It has become a favorite for my 2 year-old, who never grows tired of exploring the water room and running around -- up and down the slides. It is always clean and the staff is courteous. The cafe has gluten free options, and is quite reasonable. It really is an enjoyable place to visit -- I never mind taking my kids there.

“Wonderful museum and play experience!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

We went as a family of grandparents, parents, and a 3- and 7-year old. Everyone had a great time! The water area was fantastic--much more creative, educational, and interesting than the usual water table; there was plenty to keep the older kids fascinated as well. The "lab coats" (rain coats) were clean and kept neatly hung under small blow dryers so they were not soggy and damp when the kids put them on. There was a dinosaur exhibit arranged as a maze, with a zip line and dinosaur feet that could be walked in so you could make dinosaur tracks on a memory foam floor. There's also a play area for kids under three, indoor stroller parking, a nice snack bar with healthy options, and a lovely shaded outdoor play area with picnic tables and giant foam building blocks. A fun place to spend the afternoon!

“A sure hit with kids aged 2 to 6”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

A really nice museum that will surely entertain kids aged between 2 to about 6 years. The water exhibit with the plastic balls is where the crowd really is and the kids have a lot of things to explore in this area. Make sure they wear the jackets provided or they will come out soaking wet. The train ride is a fun option for smaller kids and it costs $3 extra. They also have a large shaded outside play area where kids can run around and play with blocks and other stuff. There was this dinosaur exhibit during the time we visited and it was nice.

Tickets are on the pricey side with 2 adults and a child costing about $50. It sure was worth it though. Actually if you are closer to the area, taking a membership for the year is a pretty good idea, as kids are sure to have lots of fun at this place.
