Here's the truth about Bellisimo Grande: If you go on a quiet night and have a room on the third floor, you probably won't have a problem. You may pay a lot (this hotel is not as cheap as others a couple miles closer to I-95) but the rooms are clean and the service is friendly.

As for first and second floor rooms (non-suites) you run the risk of having frat kids next door who couldn't get a room at Foxwoods. If this happens to you, you WILL NOT SLEEP. You will listen to them partying all night until you call security three times and they get evicted. During my stay I didn't sleep well because of a bachelor party going on in the room next door.

If you do have a problem, you won't get any money off the room from the management. The owner (Patrick) has a very strict policy about speaking with guests about their complaints. The problem is that after speaking with him, he analyzes the problem but still doesn't give you any money back.

Overall, I'd recommend The Cedar Park Suites, just down the road. That place is great, noise-free and cheaper.

Stayed there on a Saturday night. All the Casinos were full. Should have stayed up all night rather than staying at Bellissimo.
Their advertisement for the room I booked was $269.00/night. When I arrived, it was now $299.00. Their website advertises that they accept AAA. They claim they do not accept it on Saturday nights. This was not disclosed in the ad. I agree with a prior review, the staff at the desk was not the most helpful. They did not want to hear my comments regarding the above problems.
The limo service was not available the usual hours due to a private gathering. This was not disclosed either.
Room Service 24 hours a day. Don't count on it. It is a limited menu and you cannot get burgers or chicken before the Chef arrives and the Bistro is opened. So, you are better off bringing a ssnack or your own sandwiches if you wish to eat early. My daughter and I had spa treatments at 6 pm and wanted an early meal. Besides that, they were out of one of the drinks we wanted and one of the desserts.
The breakfast buffet is actually less than that of Hampton Inn or Marriot. Kitchen is very small area. It gets crowded and messy really quickly and no one is really watching it.
I do have to say, in disagreement with an earlier review, I have been to many hotels with spas and even though this one was very small, it was worth the money. We had manicures and pedicures. People were the nicest in this area of the hotel.
Actually, one of the nicest people we met was the young guy bringing up towels to the 3rd floor from the laundrey. Very friendly and pleasant.
I do agree, for the money, the bathrooms are not anything to talk about and the accessories(brand) are horrible. Bring your own.
I would never stay here againl. I feel they are advertising themselves as an alternative to the Casinos and reaping the benefit of the MONEY they are charging because of this. They do not compare to any of the Casino hotels. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
It's like a well decorated Holiday Inn with higher end wallpaper.

  • Liked — spa
  • Disliked — the deception with the pricing. I don't mind paying a high price.......but don't make offers you can't fulfill
