Had a great stay. The location is a little out of town but worth the drive. Had a fun ride on the donkey cart through the nature reserve to the lighthouse, kids had a great time. We found certain rooms on the small side but totally adequate. The staff were friendly we would certainly recommend this resort and we look forward to our return.

The Pine Lodge has lots of cabins and can accommodate large groups of people. The day we arrived a large student group was leaving. The basic cabins have beds, baths and small kitchen facilities. They are functional, but not luxurious. And then the cabins go up from t here. We chose the fanciest. They were up on the hill, had two rooms, great facilities. The bedroom was large with a whirlpool. The living room was nicely furnished. The patio had great views of the sea. These cost a lot more than the other rooms, but are really very nice for a family. The staff of Pine Lodge is very good. If you don't want to be in one of the bigger hotels and want some cooking facilities, this is a good place. Right near the University. There is a playground for kids and a pool.

I stayed here for a few nights on business. I stayed in one of the honeymoon cabins. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well as an excellent view of the sea. The regular cabins were much more basic. Both cabins seemed clean to me, despite what the previous reviewer reported. We arrived during a busy conference when the property was quite loud but overall, the Lodge was quiet when the conference group left. The restaurant is average so I would recommend going into town for meals or preparing your own.

Thank you for your review. It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us!

Our restaurant is privately owned and not run by the Lodge, but I will definitely pass your comments onto them as I know they thrive on improving.

We look forward to hosting you the next time you're in our beautiful city!

I had a conference here and as the group went to lunch someone (staff) came into our conference room and stole 15,000 euro worth of goods. Laptops, Cameras, etc. The staff told us they were locking the doors, but to our dismay someone come in through the staff quarters. After the things were stolen, the manager was unhelpful and not remorseful at all.

The rooms are close to the beach, but they are not clean and very outdated.

I would not recommend this place.. There are far better places in PE.
