Other than the water and light show, its ok. I think for us we compare centres from JHB which makes it difficult for other centres to compare

Didn't know what to expect but was surprised (living in Philly, am close to Atlantic City casinos) - there were many good restaurants (I enjoyed my Italian dinner) to choose from. Outdoor entertainers, good social scene. The casino was a bit strange in that you need to prepay for a card in order to play slots once I was told how to do that I was ok - the casino is small but enough to enjoy the gambling.

It's a bright place in the evening. A lot of shops, a lot of spots to eat and drink (Spur, Wimpy etc.). We arrived there around 8:40 pm on Sunday and it was really busy. Most of the people were standing around the lake with fountains and we realised it's going to be the show right now (we didn't know about it). And the show was fantastic! It lasts for about 15 minutes.
My advice: be there at 8 pm, find a place next to the edge of the lake, take something to drink/eat and wait for the show!
Everything else is quite usual stuff that can be found in every big mall or entertanment area.

The board has spent R1.2 billion on a new hotel and revamping the exiting attractions. The new fountain show is a must see, with the largest water screen in South Africa.

The Boardwalk is situated across the road from Summer-strand beach front.
It offers secure free parking and is worth a visit.
Daytime attractions in season, include mini golf, a number a kiddies rides, an African craft market and several tourist shops and boutiques.
There is also a number of coffee shops and places to eat the best by far being, 32 Degrees South, which is also a delicatessen and carries a range of own branded clothing.
In the evening the main attractions are the casino, very grand, and of course the restaurants.
There is an impressive Chinese restaurant. The decor is plain but the food amazing and not too expensive.
32 Degrees South offer a wide range of culinary delights, well prepared and presented. You will not leave hungry. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it especially the fresh sea food.
A visit to the Boardwalk can take the form of a stroll through a lovely setting centred around a large man made lake with some sizeable Koi swimming around. This can be done in a a couple of hours with a stop for coffee by the lake.
Wheel chair access all on one level with ramps.
Clean toilets and baby changing facilities.
