“Dessert Was So Frozen, We Couldn't Eat it!”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

The host was pleasant, but the food was only average. My husband's frozen gelato was so hard that he couldn't get a spoon or a fork into it.

“Savory, Friendly”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

Chef Bahar has brought a new savory menu to Tambascio's, the Chicken and Shrimp Tuscany melts in your mouth, the soups and salads are as ppealing to the eye as they are to taste buds. Well worth a trip up Route 302 in to the Newtown area, they have a very good wine list and an appealing menu. Do make the trip.

“EXCELLENT in every way!”
Reviewed May 24, 2012

Being vegan and eating out is not easy. The staff, however, at Tambascios accommodated me. The food was EXCELLENT. I know a lot of people who agree, so it wasn't just this time. Even their takeout business is steady. The restaurant is on the small side, but it is cute and clean. I love to eat in the sunroom, but there are only 6 or so tables out there so one must not count on that.

The owner is always there and comes to almost -if not- all tables to ensure you enjoyed your experience...nice touch. He is genuine, you just know:)

Even the busboys are top of things, and they are pleasant. It seems they are being groomed well to become wait staff.

“We love to go here on New Year's Eve”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

One place that you can go on New Year's Eve and not have to pay for an overpriced meal. They use the same menu. Dining room is small so tables are very close. Food is excellent and staff is very friendly.

“Warm, friendly restaurant with excellent choices”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

We have usually ordered out the excellent pizza at Tambasios but my wife and I did go for a sit down dinner. The owner John seated us and stopped by mid-meal to ask us how we were enjoying the food. Our dishese were excellent (eggplant parma and chicken sorrientio). The service was attentive and we will be back soon.
