Had the Vegetable Burrito with egg amd sauce on top, this morning and it was great. This is a great little place with a Peruvian theme.

I have been going to this place since back when it was Norm's Country Kitchen. Norm and Diane retired and moved, and Cisco bought the site. Happily, the food is just as good, and they barely changed the interior. It's a very homey place, where you are comfortable sitting with friends over coffee. The staff is all very friendly and efficient. The menu is basic, with some Spanish items thrown in. I haven't had lunch there yet (they are open for breakfast and lunch) but again the menu seems to contain pretty basic American fare, along with some newer Spanish items.

Being on the road a lot, I get tired of Marriott eggs, so I occasionally venture away from the hotels to find something different. I am usually relegated to the "box" breakfast joints. After seeing the reviews, I decided to try Cisco's. I was not disappointed. The Breakfast Burrito is a welcome reprieve from my normal routine. It is also not like the standard "dry" breakfast burrito you are used to eating in your hand. This has ham, bacon, eggs, onions, cheese, potatoes, etc. as expected, but it is then covered with a light, slightly spicy, green chili sauce that perfecly compliments the contents. Don't be afraid of the fact that this place looks like a dive, the wait staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! I love the ambiance because it is an authentic dive.

The food here is great and the owners couldn't be nicer. It's hard to find authentic Mexican food in CT. And this is authentic. I hear that they have a great breakfast too. The evening hours are limited, I believe, to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
