The food is delicious and very fresh. I was a little disappointed thou that you have to pay for chips & salsa. Most Mexican places, you get that for free. I was surprised with how expensive it was too.

The fresh, authentic food has been a favorite of our family for years. Special request are always accommodated. The new bar adds to the meal with fresh Margaritta's. I do wish they would have a separate section of the menu for vegetarian and vegan options.

Salsa- the name says it all. Its as authentic Mexican food that I can find in those areas. The staff is extremely helpfully and hard working.
The food is amazing and BIG portions- my burritos could have served two. The prices are average and the location is good!

Really creative southwestern style food - creative and inventive. Specials are typically seasonal based on ingredients - LOVE anything with corn and vidalia onion when in season. Staff is seasoned and tenured -

For years, we enjoyed dining at Salsa's when it was tucked away in a little "hole in the wall" location on Railroad St. The food was always delicious, fresh, lovingly hand crafted and served with professional poise. The small, unpretentious space was part of its charm. When we heard they were moving around the corner to the much more visible and larger venue on Bank St., we were worried. Many times when a successful restaurant moves to a bigger space, it is the beginning of the end, becoming a victim of their own success. Our concern was completely baseless. Salsa's is better than ever! If anything, the food is even more inventive without losing to any degree its core quality. The new space-beautifully atmospheric, larger but not overwhelming-allows them to not only serve more people at once but gives them room for a bar. The Margarita is Amazing-made from scratch without a trace of premade mixers. The beautiful old building has for years seen a stream of short lived restaurants. It is nice to to know that it now hosts such a deservably popular institution like Salsa's.
