“Great luncheon treat on the Green”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

My wife and I stopped by this local eatery after a morning of shopping for tile for a bathroom remodel and were treated to a delightful lunch on the sidewalk of this popular restaurant on the Village Green in New Milford, CT. Service was excellent and the food was fresh and very tasty. My wife enjoyed a homemade Flat Bread Stuffed with Grilled Chicken, Sautéed Spinach, Tomatoes & Goat Cheese which she thoroughly enjoyed. I tried something on the lighter side, a Bosc Pear, Endive, Baby Arugula, Almonds and Sliced Parmigiano Reggiano w/Lemon Vinaigrette salad that was very fresh and well presented. We have already made up our minds to return for dinner in the near future.

“A wonderful dining experience!!! You must try this restaurant.”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

Homemade pastas, sauces and desserts make this northern Italian food style restaurant an outstanding dining experience. My wife and I recently visited this restaurant while section hiking on the Appalachia Trail in the New Milford, CN area. Our only regret is that we live far away from this wonderful restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The owner is very sociable and friendly.

“Look out for hair”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

We've been to this restaurant a few times and won't be going back. While the food is decent, two out of the three times we've been there, someone in our group has had a hair in their food!! Can't get past hair in the food! It's nasty. And when it was mentioned to the waitstaff, they didn't do anything about it. Not to mention the waitstaff can be painfully slow. It's a shame the owner isn't more friendly and welcoming.

“Best dining experience!”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

We come from Martha's Vineyard so we know great seafood - the grilled calamari is one of the best things ANYWHERE...We ate here twice during our own Gilmore Girls re-creation weekend and we loved our time here in New Milford and at this wonderful restaurant...Owner Sandra spent time with us at the table during our second visit and we were made to feel so welcome...Our waiter, Andres was especially professional, knowledgeable and friendly, as was the entire wait staff...It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay and one of our most memorable dining experiences ever! We can't wait to go back!

“Charming and classic”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Tried first because it is one of the few restaurants downtown where you can sit outside and also because the specials board outside made my mouth water. Everything is scratch made including the pasta. Lasagna with beef my favorite entree and paying a la carte for a salad is worth it. Desserts are good here too but wine list could use some work. No hard stuff but the house made sangria is nice in the summer.
