“Risotto is Outstanding”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

Can't say enough about this hidden gem. Best Italian restaurant in New Milford. Do not miss the risotto .... Scallops were perfectly cooked....veal stuffed with Fontina cheese was delicious and the huge slice of pumpkin cake was deceiving lay LIGHT as a feather. Amazing food; can't wait to go back!!!

Decided to pay Lucia a visit last weekend because of all the great reviews. They seemed very nice and seated us on time(we were a table of 4) - well it went downhill from there. Our waiter was just miserable and never cracked a smile. He would disappear for lengthy amounts of time. A table next to us with two people with a different waiter had their deserts before we even had our meals. The food was just ok, but would have been better if it hadn't sat so long in the kitchen. We didn't order desert since we had enough of our grumpy waiter. We will never go back.

“You can't beat it”
Reviewed August 27, 2012 via mobile

Four of us went and had four different dishes. We all tried each others and they were all superb. It was a nice evening and we sat outside,an excellent setting. The wait staff was the best we have had in a long time. If you are around New Milford don't miss this wonderful resturant. Jon Morse

“New York City restaurants have nothing on this place!”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

I think the best Italian food I've eaten outside of NYC, and every bit as good. Everything was fresh. The combinations of food and spices were superb and I loved that each item on the menu was a starting off point. If you didn't want chicken you could subsitute for something else. It's made to order.

Full service bar, modest good wine list, mostly Italian. Bottles begin at $30; 16 wines by the glass, $7 to $11 and the home made limoncello was excellant. Appetizers were delicious, especially the tuna tartar with mango and avocados. The Black Linguini Diver Sea Scallops and Gulf Shrimp, in a Cognac Cream Sause was amazing. Dinner entrees were about $16 to $28.

The tables were well-spaced for a comfortable, conversation-friendly atmosphere. Outdoor seating in the front and at the side. It was a mixed crowd, from twosomes to foursomes to a table of 10, all dressed in nice, casual attire. Our server was informative and friendly.

Open Monday through Thursday, noon to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, noon to 10 p.m.; Sunday, dinner only, 2 to 8 p.m. Reservations on weekends recommended. Limited parking on the street.
