“Great Lobster Everything!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

The Lobster Bisque is a winner! The Lobster role is good too. The kids had footlong hotdawgs from the grill. The view is ok there really is not much to look at except trains flying by. Lots of locals so this must be the place to be.

“Good food, great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

When the weather's nice there will be a serious line here! Get someone in your party to go ahead and stand in line, or take a book or something. Fresh delicious seafood; great prices for the lobster; good side dishes! Very casual! Fun place.

“Very busy lobster pound on the water”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

The lobster roll and lobster bisque were terrific. We ate there on a Sunday at 4pm and had to wait in line for 30 minutes to place our order but the food was worth the wait.
They don't have a license to serve beer or wine but it's just fine if you bring your own.

“Good lobster rolls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

We went at 5 on a Monday evening and had a very short wait, by the time we left at 6 the line was considerably longer.
The lobster rolls are $10 or $15 ......and very yummy. You get a nice bit of lobster and the roll is really soft and delicious. For the rest it is fried food, piles of it! We looked around and could not BELEIVE the amount of fried food People were eating. We had the calamari and chips and there were tons of chips and a small amount of calamari. The lobster bisque had chunks of lobster but was SO rich we could not finish the small cup between 4 of us. There were people eating boliled lobster and there were scallops and shrimp which looked nice and plump. The seating is outdoors under cover on the water and it is BYOB.

“Worth the wait!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2014

Sunny Saturday, GPS got us to this modest outdoor "clam shack." Long line already at 5 pm, but it moved quickly. Our party of three ordered dinner platters: cole slaw, fries, and fried oysters, clam strips and calamari. All excellent. Our neighbor's onion rings looked amazing-- wish I'd ordered those, too. We waited on line for twenty minutes but our food came up quickly. There was ample seating for the throngs. Young helpers kept the dining area very clean. Great atmosphere right on the harbor, lots of fishing and pleasure boats and huge white swans to admire. We came to new London for a concert at Connecticut college--seven minutes away. Next time we may drive two hours just for Captain Scott's!
