Neighborhood locals and those with the good fortune of being introduced to the Brok'n Yoke make this friendly place a frequent destination. Outdoor seating year round if you can handle the temperature. We bring our dog. Inside horse shoe bar and a few booths. Can get packed. The most friendly folks around serving up delicious omelets, pancakes and sandwiches. High energy atmosphere, real people and fun.

Good family breakfast place. A bit shabby but the food is what you come for. The servers-cooks will create to order.

Let’s start by stating what The Brok'n Yoke Café is not: it is not the epicenter of the new cuisine for a happy few chosen elite. Do not go there all dressed up as if you were going to the latest fancy uptown restaurant.
The Brok'n Yoke Café is the antinomy of the aforementioned concepts. It is the place you go to fill you up with genuinely fresh, simple, and yet so tasty meals. The kitchen lies in the center, nothing to hide. This is noisy, smelly, with a friendly crew. But you’ll like the noise and the smell: you are in the kitchen basically. And while you’ll drink you fresh coffee in a giant mug, you will have the opportunity to debate about the local politics and/or the wild life surrounding the area (mainly squirrels and birds) with the knowledgeable tenants. As your omelets is being carefully cooked with all the right dose of fine ingredient and cheese that will fulfill your taste buds later on, do not leave the place without having tried the ‘soup du jour’, a must-tried for gourmets. After your first visit to the Brok'n Yoke Café, you will surely come back. You will then be greeted as part of the family.
What is served to you is so yummy that you might indulge your self with too much food? No worry; take a walk in the neighborhood after the meal, towards the ocean, which is closed by.
