“Food was OK ”
Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

If you are hungry. Don't hesitate. You won't be after you visit the restaurant. The service is nice but I wasn't too excited about the food. It looks good and clean but the taste is plain. Nothing to write home about. Maybe it's because I ordered a veggie wrap. What could I expect?
I guess other food might taste better.
Overall nice place.

“Convenient location right in the heart of Yale campus, average food”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

I visited this pizzeria twice with friends. They also serve a variety of subs, wings, and appetizers but we only got pizzas both times. Their pizza selection is relatively broad with the variety of toppings, but the taste is just average. Margarita with tomatoes and basil was fine but buffalo chicken was spicy to the point of being uneatable. There is no table service, just order at the register, and get pizza in about 10-15 minutes.

“Naples, we miss you, but still a Yale institution”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

Obviously the name change, the turnover, the new ownership. We miss our original Naples where they would shout, "People time to go, we're closed...slices ready!!" But times do change. This visit during Yale reunion weekend was a vast improvement over a few years ago. Slices were still ready and less than $4. The inside has received a well needed paint job -- enough to brighten up the place but not ruin what we all love -- carved tables and a Yale institution. Will definitely revisit on my next visit to New Haven in June. Very friendly staff. Super clean.

“Poor food for a good price in a good location and space”
Reviewed April 24, 2012 via mobile

I miss Naples. The place looks similar, the prices and location are perfect for a college town... but the pizza does nothing well. Canned mushrooms that occasionally taste moldy, soggy crust, even sub par sausage. Too many better choices in New Haven.

“Underrated pizzeria in the heart of Yale”
Reviewed July 6, 2008

Having visited Naples (now officially Naples Wall Street Pizzeria) in May 2008, I can say that this place is on its way back to the way I remember it back in the 1990's. The scarred tables where generations of Yalies have carved their initials are still there, as well as the Yale-dominated photos and artwork on the walls; the new paint job is a take-it-or-leave-it proposition. The pizza is as good as ever, especially if you order a whole pie rather than slices. The new owner, whom I spoke with on a couple of occasions, seems to be doing his best to attract customers once again. Oh, and the fact they have a liquor license is a plus (try their Wall Street Amber beer on tap). Shame that more people don't know about the place and the recent changes, judging by the fact that you can always find a table or booth, but for that reason, try it as a New Haven alternative to Sally's, Pepe's or Modern.
