Despite the tripadvisor rating at #5, in my opinion this is the Best Restaurant in New Haven. For fine dining when you are in New Haven, this is the place to go. My wife and I generally visit Ibiza two or three times a year, sometimes for special occasions, other times when we just want a really great meal. We tend to select fish for the main course, which is always presented creatively, but have also had excellent beef and pork entrees as well. We often start out with a few tapas as appetizers. In addition to the food, the wine selections are interesting and, with the help of the owner or waiters, we have "discovered" a number of excellent but less well-known Spanish wines. In addition, the prices of the wines are quite reasonable. On weekends the restaurant can be quite busy, but even under these circumstances the service is excellent.
