The pizza here was good, not great, just good. I don't understand what all the hype is about. Our group waited in line outside for about 45 mins to an hour just to get a seat. We had heard so much about it that we figured it must be worth it. It really wasn't.
Maybe I'm more of a Chicago style pizza person but the pizza we got was comparable to a frozen pizza. No special or fantastic flavors, crust or cheeses. Just thin crust pizza that was pretty greasy and came out a little burnt around the edges.
If you want some really good dessert after a not so great meal, try Libby's Italian Pastry Shop down the street. They have excellent canoli's in all kinds of flavors as well as many other great desserts.

There's a small waiting room, which can lead to a long wait outside in sometimes very cold weather. The atmosphere is a like that of a neighborhood pizza joint with little gems (pictures of Presidents eating there); basically an antique pizza shop which has changed little in its 80+ years in operation. Now, the pizza is fantastic. Thin style, and great toppings. Everybody there was ordering one large for each person and taking the rest home - if that tells you anything. Highly recommended, but bring a coat to wait outside, and expect $30 to eat for two.

This place is not the best pizza place around. Go back down to State Street, hang a right, and you'll see Modern Apizza on the left (corner of State and Humphrey.) It's so much better.
