I had mochi for the first time in Vegas summer of 2012. I googled mochi and was pleasantly surprised to find a place so close to me in Connecticut. Then I find out this location is owned by the son of one of the founders of the whole mochi movement. Its a great small business. The only problem is its not open late for a treat after a night out at the bars.

This perfect little shop is situated on the edge of Yale's New Haven campus. They have the perfect array of delectable Mochi ice creams.

Don't miss out on the Sakura or Guava flavors. Makes for a great pitstop after a day of studying or walking around.

Stopped in here after some noodles during the one of the coldest nights in January. Loved it! They had about 20 flavors, I chose the pistachio & some special sort of mango. They were great. The store has character. Seems to be a family recipe transplanted from Hawaii, based on the newspaper & magazine articles that were posted on the wall. Plan to make this a regular stop on my visits downtown. Would love to have them at my next party too!

Mochi is happiness is rwritten on a business card provided by this great place. On the back of the card, there are 10 small squares where customers will receive a stamp on each visit. With 10 stamps, you receive a free treat of mochi.
It was for me the first time to try mochi. It is a trype of ice cream with a crust made of rice. I strongly encourage you to try it. You will not be dissapointed.
It is not really a restaurant, but it is a “Dessert Place.” They have a traditional “mochï” (Americanized).
Mochi is a Japanese ice cream-type, made as a flatted sphere, surrounded by sweetened rice and with ice cream inside. The outside rice can be requested in different flavors, as well as the inside ice cream. They are delicious!
The place offers a cumulative-card-per-visit. 10 visits equal one free dessert composed of three mochis. We were treated with a friendly smile and courteous manners; very professional.
Prices are affordable. If you buy 12 units, you receive a discount.
Visited (twice because I liked it and I went back) on Friday May 4th, 2012 at 8:30pm and at 8:50pm
