“A regular lunch stop in New Haven”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Next to Yale British and across from Yale Art Gallery, Atticus is a favorite stopping place for us for a good lunch bite. The food is freshly made and very tasty. It is often crowed at noon but worth a short wait. Although there are lots of good places to eat in New Haven, this is the one we frequent most. Not a "destination restaurant" but better than most fast food these days.

“Art first, food second.”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

If you are visiting either the Yale Art Gallery (!!!) or the British Art Center (!!), be sure to tank up, between, at Atticus. Wonderful selection of books and sandwiches. You can almost feel yourself getting smarter as you eat there.

Pleasant diversion with good soup and sandwiches and a daily special.
Seems to be popular with the locals as well!

“Great spot for breakfast”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Breakfast here is a real great value...a full egg breakfast with apple smoked bacon and cranberry pecan toast with coffee is only 8$

There are lots of options include speciality quiches, breakfast sandwiches, french toast etc. The food is exceptional

“Don't sit and stay”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

While the food and atmosphere are nice, the service is awful. I have been several times, I really want to like this place, but I am disappointed every time. I would not go again.
