“The Read Deal”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

The place has a charming and indulgent feel that encourages a long lunch and a thorough read of the interesting/unique menu. There are plenty of quick staples but also surprising combinations, interesting pairings and a terrific collection of wine by the glass. The service is refreshingly casual, attentive and very much ready to make a recommendation. It may seem a bit cramped when you first walk in but that feeling quickly transitions to a cozy home feeling.

“Quaint bistro- full of flavor”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

The flavors of Caseus begin with the ambiance- great attention to detail in everything from the lovely carafes and warm wood of the bar and tables. The menu builds beautifully off this simple, quaint bistro style- creating farm-fresh foods from local farms, adding a lovely wine list to the mix. Great cocktails abound-- ask the "mixologist" to create something for you; always with great results!

“Caseus Cheese Truck Review”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We couldn't find the cheese truck to review it, so we are posting to the restaurant. Wonderfully delicious grilled cheese sandwiches! Fresh, buttery and crispy bread with a combo of cheeses on it. Add any sort of topping for a little extra, i.e.: onions, grilled red peppers, (what i had), sliced pork, (what my husband had) and it was a sensory extravaganza. The tomato soup was rich and hearty. A bit, (just a bit) too spicy, but still really liked it. Would DEFINITELY go again. Pricing is fair.

“Cheesey Food”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

If you want to get in for sure, definitely make a reservation in advance. Without a reservation, you can try and get bar seating. We came ten minutes before they opened for dinner and had no problem sitting at the bar. But the group that came 2 minutes after us had to wait. The bar seating is fine, but only 6 or 7 places at most. The menu isn't big but it has a lot of variety. The waiters know the menu in and out and are very nice. Almost all the food incorporates cheese in a great and delicious way. Some things were very expensive but you could get a great meal for under 14 dollars. The atmosphere is very cool as it is inside a cheese shop. The chefs are willing to change around some of the dishes and replace certain cheeses with others, but I recommend sticking to what they recommend. They know what they are doing. It's great.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We came here for lunch one day and the food was just ok. The service was horrible or I would have given it 3 stars. I wouldn't come back though.
