Great place to live and discover yourself and the world. Safe, secure, friendly. True sanctuary of science. I wish I was younger)

Start your guided tour at the Visitor's Center on Elm street. We had a Yale senior give a small group of us a 1 hour + tour of the campus. You will be amazed at the architecture and history of Yale University. The tour is free so there is no reason not to check this out!

The gothic architecture and bustle of students in this campus really make for a great atmosphere. There are also cute restaurants and shops down Chapel St. as well as many more restaurants to try out on Temple Street. Tours leave from the admissions office every hour and the admissions office can be found on Hillhouse Ave. Everything is within walking distance and if you want to go further on campus (to the medical center) then the Yale Transit bus is free for anybody (usual routes are from M-F). It was a great experience walking around this beautifully designed and accessible campus.

As we walked around the town ,we came across this beautiful ,impressive old majestic building complex and learned that it was Yale Univ. walked on the ground and admired the clock tower and massive trees. Did not inside for tour due to time limit.
