Consistently outstanding food, service and atmosphere. You can not have a better Bistro experience this side of Paris. Pricey, but when I want a great Seak Frit or Cassoulet, this is the place! Enjoy!

I have eaten here many times and the food is consistently good, service generally decent and specials that show some creativity from the chef. Not the best French food I have ever had but it is very good.

As we entered Bistro Bonne Nuit, we felt as if we were back in Paris. The decor is warm and very authentic. Beautiful fresh flowers, crisp white linens and a typically French chandelier over our table.
We started our evening with a warm and welcoming smile from Ro, the maitre 'd. Our waiter was friendly and efficient.
The food was sublime~~escargot, a tomato tart to die for, and a big plate of arugula chicken, with shaved parmesan...the duck was moist on the inside and crisp on the outside.
Our experience was sheer heaven in a little town that happily refers to itself as a town "this side of heaven".
Worth the trip!

We have dined at Bistro Bonne Nuit a number of time over the past 4 - 5 years. Each time we have enjoyed the food which was not superb but was well prepared both in taste and presentation. But we have each time left this restaurant feeling somehow not totally satisfied with the overall experience. The setting is cramped and noisy... but that is OK, totally consistent with our experience in Paris. However, the menu is not extensive and daily options are limited. With that said, the food menu is considerably over priced and the wine list is much more appropriate for a haute cuisine setting, with next to no bistro style wine choices. Service is impersonal. Other French restaurants in nearby Fairfield County towns offer better value.
