My family went for lunch, taking my niece who had recently returned from a trip to Seoul. I am not very familiar with Korean BBQ, having only been one other time in NYC, so I can't really compare. For us it was a very fun experience, the food was good, and my niece compared it favorably to the food she ate in South Korea. Each table has it's own grill in the center. We ordered the BBQ, which comes with a huge number of side dishes, including soup (not my favorite) and scallion pancakes and and an egg souffle dish. The wait staff brings a platter of meats based on what you order, along with the side dishes which get spread around the grill. We did some of the grilling ourselves with the tongs provided, and the staff was very helpful in rescuing us when it got overwhelming. It was very quiet when we were there, only a few other diners, so the service was very prompt. The only downside for me is the location in a shopping plaza -- but I would definitely go back.
