“Looking for a fun night and a bit of New Orleans atmosphere”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

VooDoo Grill is just the thing. Not what you would expect in Mystic, CT. If you are looking for coastline seafood this is not the place for you. Also not really for young children. But if you like to have southern style food in an interesting locale with a good vibe this is it. I had grilled chicken wrap that was really good (it comes either grilled or fried chicken and your choice of fries, rings, beans or cole slaw). My husband had the jambalaya which he really liked. You can get a version with shell fish added but he chose the original version. Spicy with Andouille sausage served on a bed of rice. Monday night is trivia night where you can win a 75.00 gift certificate that you can use that night. And sounds like they have something going each night. Happy Hour special 4 -7 are of good value - discounts on beer and wings. Fun place to check out but don't expect your typical Mystic restaurant.

“Somewhere To Eat”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

It was ok. Not too memorable. Small inside not much seating. Food was good. Their "Taste of Mystic" booth is always great.

Great food, Great service, We ended up here for happy hour (4-7). 5.00 appetizers, half off wings and 2.50 Buds. Could not beat the relaxed atmosphere on the back patio.

“Amazing Food”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

Found this restaurant by accident but glad we did, we had the catfish and hushpuppies as a app as well as the crawfish and corn chowder, and I can honestly say some of the best chowder ever, and the apps were amazing .For our meal we had the seafood jambalaya and glad we decided to share as this was a great portion of food. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Mystic

“Whole lot going on in a little spot”
Reviewed May 16, 2014

If your looking for something away from the standard fair this is a great little place and I do me little.

Have eaten here on a few different occasion's and it's always nice to duck in when walking around downtown.

The foods great. Love, the veggie nachos piled high enough easily shared between two as appetizer or made as meal for one.

The staffs always friendly the food ample the atmosphere live and friendly. The only downside is parking, ......gets a little busy, but after all this is Mystic! There is a (paid) parking lot so if your going to stroll and checkout the downtown and why wouldn't you? It may pay to pay for the extended parking and not fight the on street parking.

The Voodoo Grill has been around for awhile and it's nice to drop on in for something a little different.
