“Don't go!!”

Clam chowder was awful -- very bitter, and lobster roll was a skimpy portion and tough. Waitress was in the wrong business.

“Kitchen Little delivers big!!!”

Finally found Kitchen Little in its new location at Mystic Marina. Excellent breakfast as usual. Fine service, good selections, fair pricing and looking out at boats and harbor adds to the enjoyment...

“Ok for breakfast”
Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

We were sent to this little place by our hotel for breakfast and it was quite a way out for us. The hotel had raved that it was the best restaurant in CT but it wasn't quite what I thought I'd signed up for. The service was good, the food was ok, but no more than that. Quite a lengthy detour that I could have done without.

“Best breakfast in the area”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

This little place is so worth it for breakfast. It’s the second time I’ve had the opportunity to go here for breakfast. My last trip to the area, the person behind the desk in the Marriott recommended it, and it was such a great recommendation.

They have a very large menu, countless types of waffles, pancakes, French toast, and eggs. They have daily special, rather unique things. They had a lobster scrambled eggs dish as one of the special. They had many different poached eggs, and lots of omlettes as well. I went with the traditional cheese omlette and it was excellent, over-stuffed, with red potato hash browns. I left very much full.

The place is very small, and gets crowded fast. Eating outside would be great, I just always seem to be here in the fall, when it’s a bit too chilly. There is a great view of the Marina from the place.

I’d highly recommend it for breakfast, I’ll be back when I return next fall.

“Super breakfast in Mystic”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Whenever we stay in Mystic CT, even if breakfast is included in our stay, we drive out to the marina and dine at Kitchen Little. This little, second story restaurant has it all. The coffee is always hot and tasty. The menu selection is not indicative of its name....it is huge. The specialty dishes are unique and flavorful. The omelets are big, fluffy and loaded with fillings. The pancakes, with all kinds of added items, and French toast (regular & raisin) are super. Real maple syrup is served, not the watered down fake stuff. Seafood crepes and benedicts are served hot and are very delicious. And best of all the service is tops and the prices are reasonable.

NOTE...it gets crowed real fast as it is "little". If you have to wait on the porch for a table, pour yourself a cup of java, sit down and enjoy the view of the harbor. Your table will be ready shortly.
