Had a very good business lunch at Latitude 41. Location is on the water and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The clam Chowder, Fish tacos and fish and chips are perfect. The wait staff in the tavern was very slow considering there were only 6 people in the tavern. Waitress was more concerned with her phone calls. The quality of the food and fairly reasonable prices trump the poor service. I will definately return.

Found this as we completed our tour of Mystic Seaport. A lovely up-scale and quietly elegant restaurant. Had massive bowls of clam chowder (makes a meal) plus delicious salads. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Mystic for any reason.

Friday evening, we were at Mystic Seaport for the Halloween festivities and ate here before the program began. We had never been here before and what a great find! The lobster pot-pie was recommended by a young man on the wait staff (sorry, I didn't get his name). Our server was Kelsey (great job, Kelsey!) and she seconded the lobster pot-pie. My wife ordered it with some hesitation, thinking it would be fishy tasting. Well, it was nothing short of heavenly! A very generous portion, full of lobster chunks. I had the fish and chips (I'm a sucker for fish and chips and somewhat of a connisseur - you know what I meant to say) and they were excellent. Reminicent of Robert's in Kittery.

We will be visiting Mystic again just to go here and have the lobster pot-pie and fish & chips.

What a shame ! This is a very pretty facility on the water by the seaport, a warm inviting Tavern atmosphere. We went early on a Saturday eve for drinks and appetizers. In the Tavern, there were plenty of open spots at the bar and a handful of diners. We were able to order drinks while the young staff yelled across the room to each other with various instructions and requests. We watched the staff make themselves drinks and use their phones extensively. We helped our selves to menus and not once did a server stop by to take our order or even ask if we wanted a refill. After a half hour, we finally had to interrupt the staff conversations to ask for our bill (she gave a verbal total instead of "waiting" for the computer receipt.....). We noticed the other patrons had the same experience, lots of empty glasses and loud excuses by the staff about shift change, etc...all the while the 4 or more staff remained mostly huddled in a corner of the bar, chatting and drinking. We will not go back.

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant over Columbus Day weekend 2012.
We had dined here before when this esablishment was "The Seamen's Inn".
In fairness, there was a wedding receiption in progress which might have been part of the problem.

What we experience this time was an indifferent hostess, and untrained waitress
(who, to her credit did try hard) inconsistent food (great chowder, way over sized salads,
overcooked Penne (resembled rice pudding), over cooked mussels, and short poured and
overpriced drinks (skip the Scotch).

This restaurant today is a far cry from what it use to be when it was "The Seamen's Inn"
which I suspect was locally owned. I recommend you find another place to have dinner.
