We love the atmosphere here, and the availability of Local brews (half price on Sunday). You will have to wait at peak times, the pub is not large. it is very friendly, and the meals are above par. Not your typical pub food. the salads, chowder, and basically everything we have ever ordered have never disappointed. We only wish we lived closer to it ! Worth the trip !

I have enjoyed Daniel Packer Inne for many years, I had dinner there in August with 3 other people, we all had a wonderful meal and the waitstaff was top notch...

We visited Mystic for the first time on our wedding anniversary. After getting settled at our B&B we combed the menues of local restaurants & the reviews in TripAdvisor, finally settling on Captain Daniel Packer Inne. We chose the restaurant rather than the Pub because of our special occasion. What a wonderful surprise. The dining room was dimly lit and very cozy; the tables were rather close together, but we did not find that a problem. My husband had the filet mignon, I chose grilled salmon and then we shared a deliciously decadent flourless chocolate torte with huge cups of wonderful, strong coffee. The service was excellent and we found the food outstanding. We will definitely go there again next time we visit Mystic.

Dinner tonight at the pub of this old, rustic landmark. First time at the pub. Fun night as it was pirate themed to benefit downtown mystic. Loved the pub atmosphere and found it very cozy. Food was decent. Lobster lollipops were awesome as was the fuzzy navel martini :). Lobster roll was a bit dry and the crab sandwich was bland. Still a great night!

A recommendation from a local storekeeper sent us here early evening. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple of beers from a great selection before having dinner, also at the bar. Lobster roll and asparagus on the side was gorgeous, my husbands burger was top notch. Service and staff charming and efficient. It has a genuine pub feel to it and was very welcoming. Upstairs looked more formal and not what we wanted in jeans and Tshirts after a long drive, so the pub downstairs was perfect. Thanks DPI.
