Nice place for a dinner. You can bring kids, but older than toddlers so they can appreciate the nautical environment. Parking is limited, but free.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

The Daniel Packer Inn was wonderful!!! The portions were so large we almost needed a hand truck to wheel me out of there. The fried calamari appetizer was delicious as was the main course. Go and eat there!!!!

“Fine Food & Historic Dining”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

The Captain Daniel Packer Inne is located in a quaint old building, and you really feel you are dining in old Mystic. The menu is varied with steak and seafood, The lobster lolipops appetizer is delicious, although a little pricey at $11 for 3. The Fruit de Mar was fresh and excellent and made as requested. Very reasonably priced good wines available. Everyone enjoyed our dinner.

“Great Tavern”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

This was a great tavern with great food and a fun atmosphere. The 'smashing pumpkin' drink made with pumpkin beer and 'moonshine' was delicious. The food had a wide range from burgers to grilled salmon. We ate in the pub but the restaurant looked nice and a bit more formal. Would recommend to anyone eating in Mystic!

“Great Lunch at Captain Daniel Packer Inne Restaurant and Pub”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

What a wonderful place! 5 of us have a late Sunday afternoon lunch. The food was great but the service was a little slow, they needed another server. The truffle Mac and Cheese makes a great app. Down stairs was full so we sat upstairs which was fine but I would suggest downstairs for a better view. Great burgers and salads.
