“Dined in the pub, good meal”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Very quaint pub with a very old feel. We went in April so it is off season and we had to wait a bit for a table as they do not take reservations in the pub(only the upstairs.) Gave you the feeling of being in a fishing town of years gone by. The fire place was burning and the ambiance was nearly perfect. The food was very good. The prime rib special was 2-3 inches thick and had real flavor! The drinks were good and the service was excellent. My only warning is that it is very small! Maybe 8-10 tables and a bar. We were off season and a Tuesday and had a small wait. If you time it right, you will enjoy it very much.

“dined in the pub and would certainly go back”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Had dinner in the pub, very cozy and historic New England feel. Not and abundance of seating so get there early or be prepared to wait a bit. Appreciated the parking lot out back. Attentive server. Food was good, not exceptional but clam chowder and fish and chips very solid. Lobster roll wasn't best ever but not bad. Dinner for 4 was $125, and that was only 4 drinks and no desserts. There were two parties there that night who had both eaten thier the night before.

“Nice Lunch on Saturday Afternoon”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

When we arrived to the restaurant it was already 2pm and packed. They told us waiting time for 4 is 45mn. There isn't really any waiting area. So we went nearby the bar (which was also full) and waited on the corner.
Once we were seated, service was reasonably fast. I was most impressed with the appetizers. Lobster stuffed artichoke was excellent. Another good appetizer was grilled scallops. For main dishes, we ordered fish and chips, chicken burger, cheeseburger and lobster salad wrap. Lobster salad wrap was the best between all. Fish and chips and cheeseburger were also good. However chicken burger which was recommended by our waitress was too dry.
Inside of the restaurant is small, lovely.
I would definitely recommend to give a try.

“Worst lobster roll in the world”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Quaint building. Friendly staff. But absolutely the worst lobster roll I have ever had. Lobster roll was made with crappy, tough claw meat...was so disappointing! My husband thought it mght be friozen or canned lobster meat.
