Description: McQuade's marketplace is a full service grocery store in Mystic, CT. We have a huge salad bar, soup bar, grill, deli, and cafeteria style 80 seat restaurant. There is a gas fireplace, butcher block tables, flowers in vases on each table, and interesting views over to the aquarium. We have a large selection of high quality affordable food choices from burgers, pizza and fish and chips to Prime rib and Duck a l'Orange. On Wednesday nights there is an all you can eat pasta buffet and Sundays are all you can eat breakfast buffet. High quality, low prices and great service in a clean inviting dining area. Have a deli sandwich made fresh from our selection of specialty sandwiches or paninis or create your own.

This somewhat hard to locate grocery store/deli is a great find for travelers! It is located across from the Mystic Aquarium and Old Mystic Village. They have a fairly good sized area of the market that features ready-made foods; everything from sandwiches & wraps to ready-made main entrees. The deli is fantastic with an extensive menu of sandwiches. Prices for sandwiches/wraps and ready-made entrees are very reasonable. Average sandwich/wrap price is around $3.99 - $4.99. Food choices are better and healthier than the snack bars at various area attractions or fast food restaurants. They have a large area to eat-in and several umbrella tables outside. We ate lunch there several days and purchased ready-made main entrees to reheat at our cottage for dinner.

Great for in- room dining. The prepared foods are nice, great alternative for travelers. The chicken Tortilla soup was my favorite

NYC prices, but also has an assortment of EVERYTHING you could want. Was glad I came here instead of looking for the A+P (farther away). Great selection. Clean store.

McQuade's is located across the street from the Mystic Aquarium. It is a grocery store but turn right through the doors and you will find the cafe. The tables are butcher block with flowers in vases, there is a gas fireplace lit in the winter, and outdoor patio tables in the summer.

In colder weather McQuade's offers 6-8 different soups at the soup bar. All are excellent. The number of choices are reduced to 2-3 during the summer. Year round there is a large, fresh, and well-stocked salad bar. Yummy rolls and slices of artisanal bread round out the two bars.

There are always entrees-of-the-day offered such as meatloaf, roast turkey, etc. There is a grill for made-to-order burgers and more.

Desserts are in a revolving enclosed glass case, which stops when the door is opened. My children have all loved watching the pies, parfaits, and cakes going round and trying to decide which to pick.

Lastly, there is some of the best New England clam chowder offered daily - but was hidden down at the fish counter to the left of the cafe grill.

The prices on everything are extremely reasonable. Friends have always been so surprised to find this hidden restaurant in a grocery store. Much of Mystic is pricey and this is a family-friendly, good quality alternative.

I love this place!! My granddaughter and I have a hard time choosing what we will be eating when visiting, as there are SO many choices. Pretty much anything you desire from soup, sushi, chowder, fish, italian selections, salad bar, sandwiches, dinners (meatloaf, chicken, etc.). Prices are very fair and the seating area is bright and clean.
